On July 5th, students of the 1st to 4th standards of D.E.S. Primary School, Tilak Road, Pune, participated in the Palkhi celebration on the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. This programme was performed by the students of Standard 1 (morning and afternoon shifts), arranged by their teachers, under the able guidance of our Chairperson, Adv. Rajashree Thakar, H.M., Mrs. Archana Dhanawade, and supervisors Mrs. Gracia D'Souza and Mrs. Simran Gujar.

NEP 2020 suggests that students need to experience such events, which would help them understand social importance and shape their future.

Students of std 4th participated in the procession by holding the banners of 'Say No to Plastic’ at crossroads to spread the awareness of saving the environment, truly embodying service through divinity.

All the small warkaris, through their participation in this procession, showed their devotion towards the almighty Vithoba with great happiness and excitement.
