On the occasion of Vasu Baras, under the supervision of HM Mrs. Archana Dhanawade Ma'am, Supervisor Gracy Dsouza Ma'am, a few selected teachers and students of std. 3rd and 4th of D.E.S Primary School, visited the CME, Pune for an unforgettable experience.  The purpose of this visit was to salute and pay gratitude to the unsung heroes who are always on their toes to serve their country, so that the people can enjoy their festivities fearlessly and can sleep soundly.

Our students, presented the Diwali gift hampers consisting of diyas, incense sticks, chocolates and Diwali snacks, all prepared by the students of std 1st to 4th under the supervision of teachers, as a part of their work experience activity as per NEP.

Music teacher Mrs. Harshada Karekar presented her song and sports teacher Mrs. Yoginee Kanade presented a poetry in honour of our soldiers. Our HM , as a perfect tradition, venerated the soldiers and presented the gift hampers.

The idea was cultivated by Mrs. Archana Dhanawade to get a glimpse of the way of working of the soldiers of our country. How their discipline, love and respect towards country can be imbibed in our students was the main motto of our beloved HM.

The Officers of CME were very pleased to have students of D.E.S. Primary School as their guests for a day and to give them a glimpse of their routine. The Officers honoured the teachers and students by giving them a sweet box and appreciated the efforts of the students.

The activities were conducted under the supervision of both the Supervisors Mrs. Gracy D'Souza, Mrs. Simran Gujar and all subject teachers of D.E.S Primary School, of both shifts.

We thank the heroes for their service, as we lay protected under the safety blanket that they provide us.
