Raksha Bandhan , is the bond of protection which also represents love and gratitude.On this occasion, sisters tie Rakhi on their brothers' wrist venerate them and pray for their good health & long life.But the tying of a Rakhi is not confined to a brother and sister, but anyone who feels protected by others.Students of DES Primary School, made Rakhis, greeting cards and curated poems to show our love and respect towards our protectors at the border i.e. the Indian Army Jawans. Our school authorities viz. HM. Mrs. Archana Dhanawade maam, Supervisors Mrs. Gracia D'Souza miss and Mrs. Simran Gujar miss made arrangements to send these gifts at border. Subhedar Ashok Sathe Sir who was accompanied by Hawaldar Suresh Auti Sir of CME, Pune, took upon themselves to take these gifts of love to the border areas of Leh, Jaipur and Jammu as a token of our gratitude for their selfless sacrifice and service towards the Nation.
