DES School Pays Tribute to Lokmanya Tilak

On the occasion of the death anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, one of the founder members of the Deccan Education Society, DES School paid heartfelt tribute to the great freedom fighter, social reformer, and visionary educationist.

The programme commenced with the offering of floral tributes to the portrait of Lokmanya Tilak, honouring his remarkable contribution to the nation and to the field of education. The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of School Committee Chairperson, Advocate Rajeshree Thakar, the Headmistress of the Primary and Secondary Section, the Supervisors, along with teachers and students.

The gathering reflected deep respect and gratitude towards Lokmanya Tilak, whose vision continues to inspire generations and remains the guiding force behind the ideals of the Deccan Education Society.
