Yoga is an invaluable treasure given to the whole world by Indian tradition, and that is why we should preserve it. Yoga is a beautiful gift from India to the whole world. On June 21, 2015, with the inspiration of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, this donation was launched internationally. Deccan Education Society's D.K. Sharma has been roped in to strengthen the health of the younger generation of our country, which is known as the country of youth, physically, intellectually, and mentally, and to further promote yoga. D.E.S. Primary Division is not far behind. As we celebrate the 10th International Day of Yoga, D.E.S. The primary department had been in a state of disrepair since 7 a.m.

A special online yoga session was held for parents at 7:30 a.m. As many as 79 parents participated in the online yoga session. The program was inaugurated by Hon'ble Principal Archana Dhanwade Madam. Under the guidance of sports teacher Yogini Kanade, all yoga-loving parents performed complementary activities, yoga asanas, pranayama, trataka, prayer, and cool exercises. Shubhra Bhat, a class III teacher, handled the technical duties perfectly. At the end of the program, Supervisor Gracie D'Souza gave a vote of thanks. Supervisor Simran Gujar, teachers, and non-teaching staff attended the event.
This was followed by a chair yoga session for classes I and II at the school. The face started with complementary movements, trātak pranayama, and prayer. As many as 625 students of the school enjoyed chair yoga.

 Many students of Class III and IV celebrated Yoga Day by experiencing various yoga asanas. Dr Bhakti Waghle, who was present as the chief guest in the morning, added color to the event by taking various activities of the students. Pooja Mehandle and Shailaja Adkar were the chief guests in the afternoon session. She taught various asanas to the students. The chief guests of both sessions interacted with the students and gave them a pat on the back. The event was hosted by Mrs. Ruchira Jadhav and Rupali Bedekar. Sports teachers Yogini Kanade and Shrikant Joshi Sir conducted demonstrations for the students. Students in both sessions performed musical yoga as well. Supervisors conducted the vote of thanks on the occasion. Yoga, which is going on in our schools, should start as an activity, a movement. Principal Archana Dhanwade urged all students to perform Surya Namaskar and Yoga asanas every day. The present era is known as the age of competition. If we want to survive in this age of competition, then in the present situation, every person needs to do yoga regularly for their overall growth.

June 21 is also known as World Music Day. On the occasion of this day, under the guidance of music teachers Harshada Karekar and Bhakti Patwardhan, all the students worshiped Saraswati and the instruments. The song composed by Harshada Karekar was appreciated by all. Principal Archana Dhanawade, Secondary Principal Vijaya Joshi, Deputy Principal Laxmi Malepati, Supervisor Gracie D'Souza, and Radha Ketkar were present on the occasion.
The decorations on the stage drew attention to the fact that the entire event was performed brilliantly due to yoga and music. Sheetal Belwate, Sayali Marathe, Sarika Dusane, and Svetambari Bodh worked hard to make decorations.
The 10th International Yoga Day was celebrated through the hard work of all the teachers and non-teaching staff of D. E. S. It went well in the primary section.
