Remembering Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, std 4 students (Morning and Afternoon shift) presented a vibrant program to celebrate Shiv Jayanti, showcasing the life and values of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Dances depicted Shivaji Maharaj's childhood adventures and bravery, echoing his fearless spirit. Students recited the oath of establishing Swarajya, inspired by Shivaji's vision - "स्वराज्याचा उदय होवो, अधर्माचा नाश होवो!". Dances and skits dramatized key battles and fort defences, illustrating his strategic brilliance. The little actors shouted the war cry “Har Har Mahadev!”. Demonstration of ancient martial arts, lathi Kathi, dandpatta, surror etc. were also displayed by students.

Mrs. Archana Dhanawade guided students to connect each act with a lesson, ensuring the celebration wasn’t just entertainment but a character-building experience and to learn things like How Shivaji Maharaj envisioned and built swarajya, courage over fear, love and respect for one’s land means sacrifice and service, love and respect towards elders, teachers and women. Supervisors Mrs. Gracia D’Souza, Mrs. Simran Gujar and teachers made all necessary arrangements for the program.

The celebration ended with a tribute to the legendary king, inspiring students to uphold courage and patriotism with thunderous chants of “जय भवानी, जय शिवाजी”
